Origins

The beginning days of tech deck were heavily influenced by a 5th grade teacher, who let us use free time to build makeshift parks in class. We lost most tech decks to other not so nice teachers, but the idea lived on. Finding fingerboarding on YouTube a few years later is what really stuck with us. The midwest has some deep fingerboard roots, and living in this region is likely reason for some of our inspiration. Brands and channels like No Comply, FingerSkateSelective, Aphlikshun, and Homewood FB were all early inspirations.
